Bill Beckmann

After leaving TZ, I attended Pace University, majoring in Finance. To help pay for my college education, I began selling real estate, which led me to obtain my broker’s license and open my own real estate business in Tappan. During this exciting time, I married my Dutchman high school sweetheart, Kerry Beckmann (Class of ’77).

My interest in real estate continued to grow, leading me to expand into the field of appraisals. I earned my MAI designation and transitioned into commercial real estate appraisals and property tax litigation. In addition to operating my appraisal business in Tappan, I also enjoy serving as the Tax Assessor for the Town of Stony Point.

Kerry and I both wanted to raise our family in the same community where we grew up, so we settled in Blauvelt and had the joy of seeing our son and daughter both become TZHS graduates. Three years ago, we were blessed with a granddaughter — and who knows… with any luck, she may end up being another Dutchman!

It has been a rewarding journey, both professionally and personally, and I am grateful to celebrate this milestone reunion with lifelong classmates and friends.
