Hard to believe it’s been 50 years! In some ways it seems like yesterday, and in some ways like a lifetime ago. In addition to graduating in 1976, I recall how exciting the Bicentennial events in
NYC were and what a special time it was to turn 18.

After graduating TZHS, I went to the University of Rochester where I graduated in 1979 with a BA degree in psychology. I spent the following year living in Israel and returned to NY in the summer of 1980 to start NYU School of Law. I graduated with a J.D. in 1983.

I worked as an attorney in NYC for over 42 years, 38 of them at the same small law firm (where I became a partner in 1993), with a busy commercial transactional real estate practice. Most recently my practice focused on design and construction contracts representing owners of office buildings and retail spaces. I retired at the end of 2025! I’m excited for this new stage of life – to spend time with loved ones, learn new skills, volunteer, enjoy cultural events, and travel.

I am the proud mom of a 29 year old daughter and 25 year old son who both currently live in Queens. My daughter is a graphic designer and the head of the art department for a jewelery manufacturing company and my son is a horticulturist for one of NYC’s parks. I am grateful that
they are relatively close by, as is my sister Ronnie (TZHS class of 1979) who lives in White Plains. My brother Paul (TZHS class of 1981) lives in Ashland, Oregon.

My father died suddenly in 1987. My mother lived in Orangeburg in the house we grew up in until 2018 when she relocated to a senior independent living facility in Riverdale Bronx, near where I continue to live. She passed away in 2022. I haven’t been back to Orangeburg since
she moved.

I have fond memories of our 40th reunion in 2016 and look forward to seeing those who can make it!
