After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a BA in English and having no idea what I wanted to do, I took a job working at a local box manufacturing company in Piermont. This launched me into a career in the packaging/printing industry. It wasn’t until later on that I would find my true passion. In 2005 I met Steve Ostrom again (we had dated in the late 70s). In 2013 we bought our house In Sparkill and refer to it as our “little cottage” filled with four legged kids! most of my time is spent fundraising for animal rescue. My biggest achievement is opening my own store in 2024 called Catique Boutique Thrift Shoppe where all proceeds go to helping feral and stray cats. I’m living my dream!
