With Christine

Fifty years later, still guided by the lessons of teamwork, community, and lifelong learning. It’s hard to believe that 50 years have passed since we walked the halls of Tappan Zee. Back then, I never could have imagined the journey ahead — and how much those early experiences would shape my life.

After college, I returned home to teach and coach in the South Orangetown schools, feeling honored to give back to the community that raised me. Eventually, I decided to pursue chiropractic medicine, earning my degree and establishing a sports medicine practice in Pearl River in the late ’80s. I had the opportunity to work with amateur and elite athletes around the world, and those experiences broadened my view of health, teamwork, and resilience.

In the ‘90s, life took me west to Southern California, where I joined the university world — combining teaching, clinical work, and leadership. While working at Southern California University of Health Sciences, I earned a master’s and doctorate in education, which eventually led me into university leadership. Today, I’m proud to serve as President and CEO of SCU, helping to shape a new generation of healthcare professionals.

I married my incredible wife Christine, and we raised two wonderful daughters, Danielle and Gabriella, both creative entrepreneurs who are sharing their talents with the world. Now empty nesters, Christine and I look forward to retirement and we are excited for the next chapter — planning to travel, volunteer, and find new ways to give back. Through it all, I’m grateful for the foundation that started at Tappan Zee — the friendships, the teams, the teachers who pushed us to do a little more than we thought we could. I’m looking forward to reconnecting and celebrating with all of you!
