Robert Raniolo

It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years!!

My parents and I moved from the Bronx to the hamlet of Tappan, NY in 1968. After graduating from TZ, my educational journey continued at NYU, St. Thomas Aquinas College, and Pace University; I completed my MBA at Pace in 1983.

In 1983, I also had the tremendous good fortune to marry my wife, Nancy Raniolo, née Beman (TZHS, ‘77). Our life together is truly the greatest joy I’ve ever known. We have lived in the Hudson Valley region of NY for the entirety of our union. We currently reside in Ulster County. This year marks our 40th year of lacto-ovo vegetarian diet adherence.

I retired in 2020 after a career focused on helping various corporations maximize sales and profit, mitigate risk, and develop efficient, effective, and empowered teams. Many of these achievements were collaborative efforts I’m very proud of. My roles spanned credit risk, auditing, and social media. I also had the enjoyable experience of owning and operating a specialty retail business, New Harvest Natural Foods, with my wife for several years. New Harvest existed to make sure new hands were learning to cook vegetarian food, new mouths were learning to appreciate it, and new hearts were learning to love it.

Regrettably, Nancy and I likely won’t be able to attend the 50th reunion. We’re facing some unforeseen circumstances.

I’m really looking forward to reading what you’ve all been up to!

Dutchmen forever, forever Dutchmen!!
Best… 🙏 Rob Raniolo
